Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Wireline operations across Saudi Arabia, ensuring efficient resource utilization, service quality, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the full business lifecycle, drawing on hands-on Wireline expertise from field engineering through coordination, operations management, sales/marketing, and back into business leadership.
  • Develop tailored solutions for customer challenges by combining technical knowledge with commercial insight, considering both micro- and macro-level perspectives.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE, API/ISO standards, and company governance, promoting a strong safety and quality culture across all teams.
  • Drive operational improvements by implementing lean practices, optimizing costs, and reducing service failures.
  • Manage the Wireline business portfolio with full accountability for revenue, profitability, and market share growth.
  • Secure and manage high-value contracts and tenders, ensuring competitive positioning and long-term partnerships.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, proactively addressing challenges and delivering fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Collaborate with other product lines to deliver integrated solutions, maximize synergies, and strengthen overall business performance.
  • Develop and execute the Wireline business strategy in alignment with global objectives, leveraging market insights to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage planning, deployment, and optimization of assets to meet operational and commercial objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals, ensuring succession planning and capability growth.
  • Foster an inclusive workplace culture that supports innovation, diversity, and professional development.
  • Represent the company at industry events and forums to enhance visibility and promote Wireline technologies.

Skills:

  • Strong Wireline technical competency with career progression from field engineering through sales/marketing and management.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience leading large, diverse teams.
  • Ability to develop customer-centric solutions and address challenges with both micro and macro perspectives.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of negotiating and securing contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in P&L ownership, business planning, market share growth, and asset management.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute business strategies effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with focus on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in engineering.
  • 15+ years of oilfield services experience with a proven career path from field engineering to management.
  • Extensive Wireline expertise, with strong background in operations, customer engagement, sales, and business development.
  • Proven ability to deliver sustainable growth, profitability, and market share expansion.
  • Experience in contract negotiation, tenders, and customer relationship management.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE and quality management principles.
