Overview
We are looking for a skilled General Technician – Engines to join our Machinery Division in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must be hands-on, technically strong, and capable of independently handling engine overhauls, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for a wide range of heavy machinery and generator systems.
This role requires strong diagnostic abilities, sound understanding of electrical schematics, and the ability to deliver high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Ø Perform engine overhauls, 3-phase AC circuit work, and generator/panel synchronisation.
Ø Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues on heavy machinery with minimal supervision.
Ø Read and interpret electric schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Ø Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance while ensuring top-quality workmanship.
Ø Identify required spare parts accurately through schematics and manuals.

Ø Handle customer queries professionally, including warranty and technical clarifications.
Ø Complete assigned repair tasks swiftly and within allocated labour hours with zero overbooking.
Ø Ensure all work complies with HSE standards and company policies.
Ø Maintain strong working relationships with existing and new customers.
Ø Take on additional responsibilities as required by the company.
Desired Candidate Profile
Ø 5 to 8 years of relevant experience with engines overhaul, 3-phase AC circuits, generators, panel synchronization, and heavy machinery electrical troubleshooting.
Ø Strong diagnostics experience in electrical systems.
Ø Ability to read schematics, circuit drawings, and machine manuals.
Ø Knowledge of traction flooded lead-acid, and maintenance-free batteries.
Ø Ability to work independently without supervision.
Ø Good command of written and verbal English.
Ø Honest, reliable, and customer-focused.
Ø Technical education in a related field.
