Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for leading the strategic, operational, and financial performance of the organization, with a strong focus on real estate development, project approvals, and client acquisition. This leadership role involves managing end-to-end business operations, ensuring compliance with real estate regulations (including escrow and project registration requirements), and driving sustainable growth through new partnerships and development projects.
The GM guides real estate developers seamlessly project lifecycle from inception to completion & related approvals, delivering excellence through tailored, end-to-end solutions designed exclusively for real estate developers. The role serves as a vital link between senior management, project teams, and external stakeholders to ensure all initiatives align with the company’s strategic vision and business goals.
Strategic & Operational Management
- Develop and execute business strategies and operational plans aligned with company goals.
- Oversee project approval lifecycles from concept to delivery, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes.
- Monitor departmental KPIs, financial performance, and operational efficiency to ensure profitability to ensure operational excellence.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to optimize financial and project results.
- Coordinate with various departments to streamline processes and improve
productivity. Implement continuous improvement initiatives across all functional areas.
Real Estate Development & Compliance
- Oversee escrow account management, ensuring full compliance with UAE real estate regulations.
- Manage project registration and approvals with relevant authorities (e.g., RERA, DLD).
- Lead the government relations team to build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies and officials.
- Develop and execute government relations strategies to influence policy and regulatory outcomes.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation, reporting, and audits related to escrow and project compliance.
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, authorities, consultants, and financial institutions.
Business Development & Client Relations
- Identify and acquire new developer clients, projects, and strategic business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Drive business growth through customized real estate solutions that address developer needs from inception to completion. Drive sales initiatives and strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and real estate events to strengthen market presence.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with key clients, investors, and industry stakeholders.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams to ensure excellence in execution.
- Set clear performance goals and ensure accountability across departments.
- Promote collaboration, innovation, and a culture of operational excellence.
- Support talent development, mentoring, and succession planning initiatives.
Administration & Governance
- Oversee general operations to ensure smooth organizational performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal, and regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain ethical standards and reinforce governance at all levels.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and present periodic business and performance reports to the CEO or Board.
- Analyze financial results, market insights, and project outcomes to guide strategic decisions.
- Maintain open, transparent communication channels between leadership and teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
- 8–15 years of proven leadership experience within Banking / Financial Institutes, real estate development, property, or investment sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE real estate regulations, RERA compliance, escrow account management, and project registration processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in developer client acquisition, project approvals, and portfolio growth.
- Strong financial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in business management systems and analytical tools.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Proven experience (8–15 years) in a senior management or leadership role.
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
• Proficiency in business management software and reporting tools
