Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive overall perfume division strategy and P&L performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives and maximizing profitability.
  • Spearhead the development and execution of innovative perfume product launches, from concept to market, staying ahead of trends.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across marketing, sales, and operations, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Oversee comprehensive market analysis, identifying emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes to inform decisions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including fragrance houses, retailers, and distributors.
  • Manage and optimize the division's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective operations.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Ensure brand consistency and protect brand equity across all channels and touchpoints, including online and offline.
  • Oversee the supply chain and production processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Champion innovation and sustainability within the perfume division, exploring new technologies and eco-friendly practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience within the luxury goods or fragrance industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing perfume brands or product lines is required.
  • Deep understanding of the global perfume market, including consumer behavior, distribution channels, and competitive dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages, particularly French or Italian, is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • A passion for the fragrance industry, with a keen eye for trends and an understanding of luxury branding.
