Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring timely reporting of financial performance to management.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections to maintain cash flow.
  • Support the budgeting process by gathering data and assisting in the preparation of forecasts and variance analyses.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, optimizing tax liabilities.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit findings.
  • Utilize accounting software (SAP) to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data accuracy in financial reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential for understanding complex financial concepts.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance roles to demonstrate expertise.
  • Any financial certification is highly preferred, showcasing commitment to the profession and advanced knowledge.
  • Experience in the specific industry (e.g., manufacturing, Automotive etc.) to understand unique accounting challenges.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP) is required for efficient financial management.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial for accurate financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive financial information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus for international communication.
