Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and report on company financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Support management with financial analysis and recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Solid understanding of tax laws and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in an office-based environment.
