Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Measure, test, and monitor asphalt thickness, levels, density, and alignment during paving operations.
- Operate and maintain gauges and measuring tools to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Record measurements and prepare daily reports for quality assurance.
- Assist engineers and supervisors in monitoring asphalt laying activities.
- Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed on-site.
- Report any discrepancies, defects, or quality issues to the site engineer or project manager.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, compaction methods, and quality control standards.
- Familiarity with road construction equipment and project site procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Must be available in UAE and ready to join immediately.
- Previous experience with civil and infrastructure projects.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Minimum 35 years of experience as a Gauge Man in road construction / asphalt projects.
