Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Furniture production engineer specialist in furniture making and manufacturing with a good knowledge in wood
Participate in developing manufacturing processes by studying production requirements.
Research, analyze, and test manufacturing methods and equipment, and collaborate with the sales department.
Work to improve manufacturing efficiency through careful planning of work requirements.
Review to ensure product quality, design suitability, and final product testing.
Provide reports on manufacturing processes, such as production costs, labor, and raw materials.
Periodic review of production schedules and projections for future requirements.
Provide engineering information by studying customer requirements.
Ensure compliance with regulations and legal rules for manufacturing procedures.
Coordinate operating procedures and periodic maintenance and repair services.
Review maintenance requirements and follow equipment manufacturers' instructions.
Maintain maintenance records and databases.
Supervise project development, train, and guide technicians.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 6 years of experience in furniture production or wood manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of wood materials, production tools, and manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and planning skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with CAD software and production planning tools is a plus.
