Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Welcoming guests: Greet guests as they arrive at the hotel, check their reservation details, and offer assistance with their luggage.

2. Check-in and Check-out: Verify guests' identities and reservation details, assign rooms, and issue room keys. During check-out, ensure that all bills have been settled and room keys have been returned.

3. Answering inquiries: Respond to guests' questions, provide information about hotel facilities and services, give directions to local attractions and restaurants, and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences.

4. Reservations: Take reservations over the phone, email or online and ensure that all details are accurately recorded in the hotel's reservation system.

5. Room Assignments: Allocate rooms to guests based on their preferences and availability.

6. Handling complaints: Address guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

7. Billing and payments: Process payments and issue invoices and receipts to guests.

8. Managing guest requests: Fulfill guest requests such as arranging transportation, making restaurant reservations, or providing additional amenities.

9. Managing the lobby area: Keep the lobby area clean, tidy, and well-stocked with brochures, newspapers, and other materials.
