Job Overview Guest Experience and First Impressions
As a Front Office Agent at Sofitel Cairo Downtown, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service from the moment a guest arrives until their departure. This guest-facing role is crucial to maintaining the hotel s reputation for excellence and elegance. You will assist with check-in/check-out procedures, handle guest requests, and ensure a seamless and memorable stay.
What You ll Do
* Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism at check-in and check-out
* Manage guest requests, room assignments, and account settlements promptly and accurately
* Promote hotel services and facilities to enhance the guest experience
* Provide recommendations and concierge-style assistance with a focus on personalization
* Operate the property management system (Opera) to ensure accuracy in bookings and billing
* Anticipate guest needs and handle complaints or feedback with empathy and discretion
* Uphold front office policies and follow safety protocols, including emergency procedures
* Collaborate with housekeeping, concierge, and guest relations to maintain smooth daily operations
* Uphold Sofitel standards and contribute to the delivery of luxury hospitality service
Ideal Profile Guest-Centric and Detail-Oriented
* Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
* Prior experience in a front desk, guest service, or reservations role in a luxury setting
* Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar hotel reservation systems
* Fluent in English; additional language skills (Arabic, French, or others) are an advantage
* Polished, professional appearance and communication style
* High emotional intelligence, patience, and ability to resolve issues efficiently
* Passionate about guest experience with a genuine, friendly demeanor
* Able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
* Team player with strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
