Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Training and Mentorship: Actively participate in a formal training program to understand the full lifecycle of district cooling systems, from design to operation. Learn from experienced mechanical engineers and mentors.
  • Technical Assistance: Assist senior engineers with tasks like performing routine inspections, collecting data on equipment performance, and preparing technical reports.
  • Equipment Monitoring: Learn to monitor and analyze the performance of key mechanical components, including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and heat exchangers.
  • Project Support: Provide support on engineering projects, which may involve new installations, system upgrades, or efficiency improvements. Help with tasks such as site visits, material inspections, and vendor coordination.
  • Documentation: Assist in creating and updating technical documents, drawings, and maintenance logs.
  • Safety and Quality: Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards, ensuring all work is performed safely and correctly.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
  • Nationality: UAE National.
  • Skills: A strong foundational knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD is a plus.
