Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Training & Development: Actively participate in the company's graduate training program, rotating through different departments such as operations, maintenance, and project management to gain a holistic understanding of the business.
  • Technical Support: Assist senior electrical engineers in daily tasks, including troubleshooting electrical faults, conducting routine inspections, and collecting data on system performance.
  • Documentation: Help prepare and update technical documentation, schematics, and reports.
  • Project Assistance: Provide support on ongoing projects, which may include new plant construction or system upgrades, by assisting with site surveys, material inspections, and contractor supervision.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and quality standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new technologies, electrical codes, and best practices in the district cooling and utilities industry.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
  • Nationality: UAE National.
  • Skills: A strong foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit theory, power systems, and control systems. Basic proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes:
    Eagerness to Learn: A strong desire to learn and develop a professional career in the energy sector.
    Problem-Solving: Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to assist with troubleshooting.
    Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    Communication: Good communication skills in both English and Arabic.
