Terms & Risk: Improve credit days and free days vs baseline; ensure ABAC/compliance and contract filing.

Productization: Stand up air consolidation and LCL offerings on top lanes; create simple rate cards for sales with a refreshing cadence.

Continuous Improvement: Lead monthly lane reviews with sales; adjust panels, margins, and agreements based on outcomes.

Success Metrics (Impact KPIs):

Win Rate improvement.

Margin Quality.

Lane Coverage expansion.

Terms Improvement (credit/free days).

Product Uptake (air consolidation/LCL share).

Operational:

Quoting Discipline: Apply approved margin bands; run exception approvals; release quotes through the freight system with cost breakdown and validity.

SLA Delivery: Meet acknowledgement/TAT SLAs; escalate early if data is missing or market constraints.

Booking Handover: On wins, confirm space, book with the agent, and hand over to Ops/CS with schedule, carrier/flight/vessel, free days, and recorded costs.

Data Hygiene & Reporting: Ensure RFQ/quote/job linkage in system; maintain win/loss notes; publish weekly dashboards (win rate, margin, TAT, lane coverage, exceptions).

SLAs (owned by Pricing Desk):

Acknowledgement ≤ 30 minutes.

Air RFQ ≤ 2 hours; Sea RFQ ≤ 6 hours.

Benchmarking ≥2 agents (new lanes) or ≥1 (with lane agreement).

Data completeness ≥95% pass rate (else returned).

Process Discipline: 100% quotes issued via system; exception log closed monthly.

People:

Interfaces: Sales (Oman), Ops/CS, Finance (credit/KYC), Legal (agreements), IT (system dashboards).

Authority: Select agents within approved panel; negotiate rates/validities within policy; initiate exception approvals for margin/terms.

SLA Accountability: Drive compliance across sales and operations through collaboration and feedback.

Collaboration & Training: Engage sales on RFQ completeness, margin discipline, and use of rate cards.

Performance Measurement: Use successful metrics to align teams (e.g., SLA compliance ≥95%, RFQ checklist pass ≥95%).

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

5–8 years import pricing (Air & Sea) with agent network management.

Professional certifications (preferred): FIATA Diploma, IATA/FIATA Cargo Introductory, APICS/CSCP, or equivalent freight forwarding/pricing qualifications.
