Roles & Responsibilities

Position: Freelance QC Inspectors – Multiple Disciplines Location: Sharjah, UAE (Fabrication Yard) Engagement: Contract / Day-Rate Basis (Freelance) Client: Major Oil & Gas EPC Contractor Job Description We are building a standby pool of freelance QC Inspectors for upcoming resident assignments in Sharjah fabrication yards. The inspectors will be deployed on a daily basis to witness fabrication, welding, coating, NDT, and related QA/QC activities as per ITPs. Minimum 5 years relevant experience (yard-based QA/QC inspection). Candidates with 5–20 years of experience are welcome to apply.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Disciplines Required • Welding Inspectors – CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2, AWS CWI, ASME / AWS codes • Painting & Coating Inspectors – NACE Level 1 / 2 / 3, BGAS-CSWIP Painting Inspector • Mechanical Inspectors – piping, structural steel, pressure vessels, tanks, skid packages (API 650 / API 653 knowledge preferred) • NDT Inspectors – ASNT / PCN Level II (MT, PT, UT, RT review) • Electrical & Instrumentation Inspectors – control panels, skid packages, instrumentation

  • Candidate Requirements • Based in UAE (Sharjah / Dubai / Ajman preferred) • Valid certifications: CSWIP, AWS CWI, NACE, BGAS, ASNT, API, etc. • Freelance visa • Prior oil & gas fabrication yard experience • Availability for resident daily assignments in Sharjah • State your expected day-rate (AED, all-inclusive) in the application
