As a Fragrances Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the retail sector, working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your primary goal is to enhance the customer experience through expert knowledge of fragrances and a warm, approachable demeanor. You will be responsible for guiding customers through a personalized fragrance journey, providing recommendations based on their preferences, and educating them on the latest trends and products in the world of perfumes. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for scents and perfumes. You will work closely with team members to achieve sales targets while ensuring an upscale experience for every customer who visits. Your expertise and enthusiasm will help build a loyal customer base and promote the brand s image.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in selecting perfumes that suit their individual preferences and skin chemistry.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the fragrance's composition and its unique notes.
• Educate customers on the latest fragrance trends and seasonal product launches.
• Maintain product knowledge on all fragrances carried by the store or brand.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to store profitability through effective sales techniques.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customers leave satisfied with their purchases.
• Assist in merchandising and creating appealing product displays to attract customers.
• Attend training sessions to improve product knowledge and selling skills.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Manage inventory levels and assist in restocking products when necessary.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and follow up with customers post-purchase.
• Provide feedback on customer preferences and trends to store management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail, preferably within the cosmetics or fragrance industry.
• Strong knowledge of fragrance categories, scent families, and aromatic profiles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse clientele.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and demonstrating sales acumen.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Passion for beauty products, particularly perfumes and scents, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required by retail operations.
