Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Preparation of formwork and scaffolding layout drawings using AutoCAD, SAP.

  • Support in selecting appropriate systems based on project and customers requirements.
  • Calculate loads, stresses, and material requirements for scaffolding and formwork.
  • Support site pre-visits, and / or on installation of scaffolding and formwork systems to ensure alignment with approved drawings if needed.
  • Ensure all scaffolding and formwork activities comply with local codes, and quality standards.
  • Provide technical support for sales team.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and calculations submitted by contractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, material efficiency, and ease of installation and dismantling.
  • Develop and implement internal design standards, procedures, and best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of the engineering designs.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to stringent health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from governmental university (Cairo & Ain Shams & Alex. University graduates have priority).

  • Fresh graduates or 3-5 years of experience in formwork design.
  • Graduation project must to be in Steel, Concrete, or Structure.
  • Strong knowledge or Certified courses of AutoCAD (2D is must & 3D is preferred), SAP and MS office.
  • Required skills: Willing to learn and get experience, Attention to details, and teamwork.
