Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maneuver heavy forklifts with precision, safely transporting materials across diverse warehouse environments, including navigating tight spaces and uneven surfaces.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues or safety hazards to ensure equipment readiness and operational safety.
- Load and unload trailers and containers efficiently, optimizing space utilization while adhering to strict weight limits and load balancing protocols.
- Operate forklifts in various weather conditions and terrains, adapting techniques to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Organize and store materials systematically, ensuring proper stacking, labeling, and inventory control to maintain warehouse organization and accessibility.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education and understanding.
- Holds a valid Heavy Forklift Operator certification, showcasing formal training and proficiency in forklift operation.
- Requires 3+ years of experience, signifying a level of expertise and practical application of skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a heavy industry setting, with a proven track record of safe and efficient forklift operation.
- Proficiency in English, enabling clear communication and effective teamwork.
- Exhibits excellent soft skills, such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
