Responsibilities

• Carefully operate forklift equipment to move goods around the warehouse.
• Ensure accuracy and safety when loading and unloading goods and materials.
• Inspect forklifts before use to ensure operational safety and performance.
• Maintain clean work areas to promote a safe and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to manage incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Communicate effectively with management on inventory needs and errors.
• Adhere to company policies relating to machinery operation and safety guidelines.
• Record detailed logs of the movement of inventory within the warehouse.
• Ensure warehouse lanes and access paths are unobstructed by excess materials.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and follow health protocols diligently.
• Assist in the inventory control process by ensuring product location accuracy.
• Handle equipment maintenance and report faults for timely resolutions.

• Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklift machinery.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination for operating heavy machinery.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate inventory management.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and supervisors.
