Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials across the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of inventory.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to uphold safety standards and prevent operational downtime.
- Load and unload goods from delivery trucks, ensuring proper stacking and secure transportation of items.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery, minimizing risks to yourself and others.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, showcasing basic math and reading skills necessary for the job.
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory, demonstrating competency in safe operation practices.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse management software is essential for efficient inventory tracking.
