Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse or production area.
- Perform routine inspections of the forklift to ensure optimal functionality, reporting any issues to maintenance promptly.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations diligently to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Handle inventory management tasks, including tracking stock levels and assisting with inventory counts as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, showcasing foundational education necessary for safe forklift operation.
- Certification in forklift operation is mandatory, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, demonstrating familiarity with material handling.
- Previous experience with specific equipment types, such as reach trucks or pallet jacks, is a significant advantage.
