Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage forensic delay analyses using industry-accepted methodologies (e.g. Time Impact Analysis, As-Planned vs As-Built, Window Analysis)
- Independently develop and submit Extension of Time (EOT) claims, including narrative reports, programmes, and supporting documentation
- Review baseline programmes, updates, and recovery schedules to identify delays, disruptions, and critical path impacts
- Analyse project records including correspondence, progress reports, site diaries, and meeting minutes to establish cause-and-effect
- Develop detailed forensic schedules in Primavera P6, including fragnet development and critical path assessments
- Support dispute resolution proceedings, including arbitration and adjudication, by providing technical planning input
- Coordinate closely with legal teams, commercial managers, and external consultants to support claims strategy
- Prepare high-quality forensic reports suitable for client, tribunal, or expert review
- Assist in expert witness support, including preparation of exhibits, chronologies, and rebuttal analyses
- Attend client, consultant, and legal meetings to present findings clearly and professionally
- Ensure all analyses comply with contractual requirements and applicable delay analysis protocols
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines and quality standards
- Mentor junior planners or claims engineers where required
Desired Candidate Profile
- 10+ Years of experience on large-scale commercial, residential or industrial project
- Proven background with Tier 1 Main Contractors or claims consultants
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong understanding of forensic planning methodologies and preparing EOT claims independently
- Proficiency in Primavera (P6) and forensic delay analysis tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
- Experience in coordinating with legal teams for arbitration, dispute resolution, and expert witness support
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality forensic reports within strict timelines
- Attention to detail with strong documentation and evidence-tracking capabilities
