Key Responsibilities:
Project Supervision: Oversee daily operations of piling and shoring activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Planning & Coordination: Develop and implement work schedules, coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
Team Management: Lead, supervise, and motivate site workers, technicians, and subcontractors; assign tasks and monitor performance.
Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols; conduct safety briefings and inspections to minimize risks and ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety standards.
Quality Control: Monitor workmanship and materials used; ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
Material & Equipment Management: Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of piling rigs, shoring equipment, and other machinery; manage inventory of materials.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve on-site issues related to piling and shoring works promptly.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and safety records; coordinate with project management for updates and approvals.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and project-specific requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in piling and shoring works.
Proven experience as a Foreman, Site Supervisor, or Site Manager in large-scale construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of piling techniques, shoring methods, and related construction practices.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and safety manuals.
Valid safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, Site Safety Supervisor) preferred.
Relevant technical diploma or trade certification is a plus.
