Job Description

The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of restaurants and dining establishments. This position requires a dynamic individual capable of handling multiple tasks while ensuring top-notch guest service and maintaining the highest standards of product quality and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a blend of passion for food and beverage, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for overseeing the staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and resolving customer complaints efficiently. Their goal is to deliver memorable dining experiences and aid in achieving financial objectives through effective management practices.


Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage department to ensure high-quality service.
  • Manage and mentor staff, providing training and guidance to enhance productivity.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of beverages and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant premises.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Assist in the development of menus and ensure consistent food presentation and quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining and service areas to maintain quality standards.
  • Organize staff schedules and manage payroll to maintain efficient workforce management.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing revenue and minimizing costs.
  • Generate reports on operational performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining a friendly and respectful environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a supervisory role in food and beverage.
  • Proven capability to manage a team and enhance employee performance.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the foodservice industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective staff management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail required.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
