Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technical operations and maintenance of facilities, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for HVAC, MEP, electrical, plumbing, and other critical systems.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, contracts, and service agreements with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives, energy efficiency programs, and innovative FM solutions.
  • Conduct technical audits and inspections to maintain the highest standards of service delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored FM solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Implement and optimize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for efficient asset and facility management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field); Master s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility management, with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Strong technical expertise in MEP systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
  • Experience in managing large-scale facility management operations in commercial, residential, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in FM software and CMMS tools.

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
  • LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • IOSH/NEBOSH certification in health and safety
