Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all daily truck operations remotely, ensuring vehicles are efficiently deployed and operating as planned.
Monitor truck locations, performance, and utilization through fleet tracking systems.
Coordinate with drivers and site teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
Supervise repair and servicing activities with workshops and service providers.
Ensure accurate maintenance records and reports are maintained for all trucks.
Track and analyze fleet operating costs, including maintenance, fuel, and repairs.
Implement control measures to reduce unnecessary expenses and improve fuel efficiency.
Prepare regular reports and recommend cost-optimization actions.
Generate fleet performance dashboards and reports for management review.
Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Support strategic decisions related to fleet expansion, renewal, or replacement.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in fleet management or logistics
Knowledge of fleet management systems (FMS) and GPS tracking tools.
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
