Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Planning all configuration changes, H/W expansions, and S/W upgrades for Fixed IP Core Nodes: IGWs & P-Routers following change management guidelines
- Provisioning new fixed IP core nodes, finalizing all acceptance requirements, and handover to operations team
- Manage the service and feature should be provided to Vodafone fixed and mobile customers
- Assure the utilization and performance of Vodafone peeing and international links to maintain the required availability & operating within the design KPIs
- Manage end-to-end TX capacity planning for Fixed IP Core network.
- Applying the configuration needed for adding new nodes and services in fixed core network like CDNs, BNGs, PEs
- Applying the needed configuration changes over fixed IP core nodes

Education:
B.Sc. Degree in communication / electronics engineering
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 years; post qualification experience preferably in an ISP environment.
Technical skills:
- BS in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- 3 years experience in ISP or equivalent experience.
- Excellent computer skills.
- CCNA, CCNP-SP is a MUST.
- CCIE-SP is a plus.
- Hands on experience in HW & SW for multi-vendor network "Cisco, Juniper, Huawei & Nokia"
- Familiar with Different multi-vendors syntax (Cisco IOS, Cisco IOS-XE, Cisco XR, JUNOS, NOKIA OS, Huawei OS).
- Hand on experience in BGP, ISIS, OSPF, L2vpn, L3vpn, VPLS, traffic engineering and NNI
- Experience in International links configuration & capacity planning
- DPI knowledge and relevant work experience is preferred
- Caching and CDNs solutions knowledge is preferred
- SDN knowledge is a plus.
- Python knowledge is a plus.
Personal skills:
Analytical and interpersonal skills are essential; together with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Special requirements:
A good command of written and spoken English is required.
