Fit Out Approval Specialist MEP Concordia DMCC

Ability to find smart way to submit required reports as per management standard rule regulation.
Participate in special projects and any other activities required to support the successful functioning of the organization,

Participate in project validation and qualification work,including the preparation and execution of validation and
verification protocols for a wide range of regulators
Maintain and apply a working knowledge of relevant engineering legislation, building codes and standards as they apply to projects
Acting as originator (or checker) and approver (where necessary) for all HVAC engineering deliverables
(philosophies, specifications, datasheets, calculations, studies, reports, VDRFS etc.), whilst following all operational

Work with other engineers, designers and supervisors as required to support engineering project delivery
Reviews associated system drawings, Basis of Design (BOD), Project Execution Plan (PEP) and all relevant client provided data
Performs sizing of HVAC equipment to the degree necessary for the stage of project in order to meet project requirements Ensures equipment compliance with package electrical, structural & instrument specifications, as well as applicable code requirements and national / international standards Prepares enquiry requisitions as required
Performs Criticality Ratings for equipment packages
Evaluates bids & prepares technical bid evaluations & provides input to joint purchase recommendations
Reports on work status/problem areas/needs on a weekly basisb.

Supporting vendor visits and inspections as required On site review of contractor's installation and commissioning for compliance
Ensure drawings are as per authority standard regulations and design space utilization, as per health and safety requirement. Ensure drawings are approved by authorized developer/ management.
Review retail fit out drawings and make sure drawings are as per license activities.
Coordinate with approval authorities and submit all documents as per their requirements.
Conduct site inspections and make sure retail space, base built services, and other technical services availabilities. Resolve any issues directly with clients and contractors. All documents & drawings to be in order prior sending to regulatory authorities for final review and approval. Ensure legal document verification process done through correct regulatory authority.
Ensure all NOCS, COCS, completion certificates are released with correct information ie. Company name, unit number etc. Coordinate with team to ensure that inspection schedule date and time is sent to all customers/Fit Out contractors. Instruct team to check drawings and that the correct drawing name and description in entered in the specific area. Present correct documents, reports, flow process for new business.
Forward all required information ie. Contact details of clients/ contractors to authorities for their records.
Ability to manage and maintain Fit out report.
Make sure documents/records are properly recorded.
Retail owner/tenant and contractor contact details should be available in respective folder.
Ability to organized daily, weekly and monthly reports for management review
Ability to improve/implement reporting method
