Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Task Description:
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of hot dishes as per the menu and airline requirements, ensuring they meet quality standards and are produced on time.
  • Prepare ingredients, season and cook various types of meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, soups, sauces, and hot appetizers.
  • Work under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie to ensure that the food is consistently prepared to the highest standards, adhering to the recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure that all hot dishes are cooked and plated according to the specific requirements of Qatar Airways Catering and clients.
  • Assist with garnishing and presenting dishes for airline clients, ensuring they meet the exacting standards of the catering operation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Atleast high school graduate
  • 1-2 years experience in catering, buffet, cruise ship and airline catering services.
  • Basic English communication skills
