Job Overview
As a Fire Fighting Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire fighting systems and related mechanical equipment. Your daily work will involve troubleshooting system issues, conducting routine safety checks, and ensuring adherence to all health and safety policies. You will also maintain accurate logs and report any equipment issues to supervisors.

What You ll Do

* Install, maintain, and repair mechanical components of fire fighting systems
* Conduct regular inspections and performance tests of fire sprinklers, hose reels, fire pumps, and FM200 systems
* Diagnose equipment faults and report critical issues to supervisors for corrective action
* Identify and use appropriate tools and machinery for each assigned task
* Adhere strictly to HSE procedures during all operations and maintenance activities
* Maintain accurate maintenance logs and submit daily reports
* Provide support for the setup and commissioning of new fire protection systems
* Carry out any other facility maintenance tasks as assigned

Ideal Profile

* Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with fire fighting systems installation and servicing
* Familiarity with fire suppression systems including FM200, fire pumps, and hydrants
* Ability to identify faults in mechanical systems and suggest appropriate solutions
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Hindi is a plus
* Strong adherence to safety practices and detail-oriented work ethic
* Capable of working under pressure and handling multiple tasks on-site
