Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities on-site, ensuring work is executed according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to guide finishing works such as plastering, painting, tiling, and carpentry.
- Monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion of finishing tasks and adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues related to finishing quality, safety, and compliance.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure materials and workmanship meet project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation for management review.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with project managers and other engineers to integrate finishing activities with overall construction progress.
- Manage resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment for finishing works.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and client specifications throughout the finishing phase.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience in finishing works within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing and supervising finishing activities on large-scale construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
- Proficiency in using project management and reporting tools.
- Willingness to work on-site (on-premises) as required by project demands.
