Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities including but not limited to painting, gypsum, tiling, marble, wood flooring, wall cladding, cabinetry, and final fixtures.
  • Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
  • Allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors, monitor performance, and ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and compliance, and arrange for corrections or touch-ups as necessary.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC Inspectors and consultants for inspections, approvals, and snag rectification.
  • Maintain progress reports and communicate any delays, issues, or deviations to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure proper material usage, avoid wastage, and check material deliveries for quality.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all personnel are working in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in preparing snagging lists and ensure all punch-list items are closed out prior to handover.
  • Coordinate with other trades (MEP, civil, joinery) to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Technical Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related trade.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finishing works supervision, ideally in interior fit-out or high-end construction.
  • Strong knowledge of finishing materials and techniques, including decorative plaster, tile setting, painting, and joinery installation.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficient in site reporting tools and MS Office.
