Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Student Collections
  • Collection of cheques from students and keeping proper records of the same
  • Submission of cheques to the bank on due dates.
  • Follow up with students/Parents for the overdue outstanding in a systematic manner and report to the Director of Finance every week, along with bounced cheque reports.
  • Supplier invoice entry in the system after verification of complete documentation and report to the Director of Finance if in case of discrepancies.
  • Submission of invoices for payment on due dates to Dep. Dir. Of Finance.
  • Reply to Suppliers on their payment status.
  • Maintaining fixed asset details and preparation of depreciation schedule on an ongoing basis
  • Handling of Student Requests on various issues.
  • Assisting in organizing and arranging the department s documents
  • To undertake duties as directed by the Head of the Department
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the Director of the department.

Qualification

  • Bachelor s degree in accounting

Experience

  • 3 5 years experience
  • Extensive professional experience in managing accounting operations, overseeing billing processes, analyzing departmental statistics, and preparing financial reports

Technical/Work-based Skills

  • Excellent organizational and work team skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Exhibit good report-writing skills.
  • Strategic Thinking
  • Speaking in public.
  • Working with finance background students and staff.
  • Computer and Communication skills.
