Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Finance Manager to join our UAE operations for Altron in Abu Dhabi & Sharjah. In this role, you will be essential in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and risk management. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, manage audits, and support strategic financial decision-making. This is a key leadership role in a fast-growing, future-facing business.
• Set up and continuously improve finance function systems and processes to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Manage and mentor a finance team, ensuring their continued growth and performance.
• Implement and improve internal financial controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment with company goals.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital management.
• Ensure tax and VAT compliance under UAE Federal Tax Authority guidelines along with filing.
• Lead annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions and investment opportunities.
• Oversee financial aspects of supply chain and logistics, including cost control and cost structures, vendor contracts, asset management, and working capital optimization to ensure efficiency and alignment with company strategy.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting roles with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity. • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Preferred but not mandatory: Arabic) • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas to both finance and non-finance audiences. • Must be a team-player and work well with others. • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing. • Experience in setting up and improving financial systems, processes, and internal controls to support scalability. • Exposure to supply chain, logistics, and asset management from a financial perspective, including cost analysis and vendor management.
