Your new role, what's involved?
WSP is seeking a highly experienced Field Traffic and Detour Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This role involves overseeing traffic management and detour planning on road and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with supervision consultants to ensure efficient traffic flow and minimal disruption during construction.
• Develop and implement traffic management plans for road and infrastructure projects.
• Design and oversee detour routes and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, local authorities, and stakeholders to manage traffic impact.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor traffic conditions to ensure effective implementation of plans.
• Address and resolve any traffic-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to traffic management and detour plans.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in traffic management and detour planning, with a focus on road and infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of working with supervision consultants and managing complex traffic scenarios.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Familiarity with local traffic regulations and standards.
