FIELD TECHNICIAN - PRODUCTION

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Strictly follow all HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in daily activities.
• Adhere to safe work practices and actively contribute to maintaining a safety-first environment.
• Participate in emergency drills and remain ready to respond to incidents such as fire, gas release, or medical emergencies.
• Support routine field operations during day and night shifts as directed by the Senior Technician and Shift Supervisor.
• Coordinate with the Panel Operator to carry out field operations safely and efficiently.
• Perform assigned tasks under valid work permits, ensuring full compliance with the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Attend Toolbox Talks (TBT) before starting any job and follow instructions provided by the work leader.
• Confirm the availability and readiness of safety systems, barriers, and emergency equipment prior to starting work.
• Assist in preparing equipment for maintenance, including isolations, depressurization, and tagging, following approved procedures.
• Support the application and verification of isolations (e.g., LO/LC tags and isolation plans).
• Conduct routine field checks and test runs on standby equipment; report abnormalities to the responsible Senior Technician or Supervisor.
• Monitor field equipment and systems; report abnormal operating conditions or alarms.
• Support field operation activities such as equipment line-up, monitoring process parameters, start-up and shutdown operations, draining, sampling, and chemical dosing.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations during rounds or assigned tasks.
• Assist in coordinating and supervising contractors during maintenance work and ensure compliance with site rules and procedures.
• Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS - UNISOL) for logging field data, reporting issues, and tracking maintenance activities.
• Monitor spare parts usage and support inventory checks to ensure adequate stock of critical maintenance materials.
• Support routine inspections and functional checks on Safety Critical Equipment (SCE) and report deficiencies.
• Contribute to maintenance coordination and planning by updating logs, checklists, and maintenance reports.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Investigations by providing field observations and operational insights.
