Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

We are looking for dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Agents to promote and sell our E- wallet services to local merchants.
As a key part of our merchant acquisition strategy, you will be responsible for onboarding new merchants, training them on using the platform, and supporting their activation and initial usage.

Key Responsibilities:

Merchant Acquisition:
Identify, approach, and close deals with small to medium-sized businesses (grocery
shops, pharmacies, mini markets, service providers, etc.) to onboard them onto the e
wallet platform.
Product Pitching & Demonstration:
Clearly communicate the benefits of the e-wallet solution, including payment acceptance,
float management, cash-out services, and loyalty programs.
Training & Activation:
Guide merchants through registration, wallet activation, and first transaction. Ensure they
are comfortable using the app/platform.
Relationship Building:
Act as the main point of contact for new merchants for the first 30 days. Gather feedback
and ensure merchant satisfaction.
Reporting & Documentation:
Submit daily visit reports, leads pipeline, and merchant onboarding data using mobile
tools or tracking sheets provided.
Market Intelligence:
Provide insights on competitor activities, merchant needs, and general feedback from the
field.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of new merchants onboarded per week
Activation rate (% of merchants doing transactions)
Lead conversion rate
Territory coverage and number of visits
Merchant retention rate in first 30 days

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus
1 - 2 years of experience in field sales, especially in fintech, telecom, FMCG, or payment
services
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Knowledge of the local market and geography
Self-motivated and target-driven
Basic smartphone proficiency (apps, GPS, data entry)

Additional Requirements:

Must own or have access to a smartphone
Ability to travel daily within assigned territory
Flexibility to work on weekends or extended hours if needed
