Field Operator II - Wireline Weatherford International Oil Field Services

Responsibilities

• Carries out inspection, functional testing, monitoring, and maintenance of equipment within scope of training and competency.
• Conducts rig-up and rig-down of equipment safely and efficiently.
• Senior roles may plan and coordinate jobs, troubleshoot equipment issues, implement corrective actions, and lead field crews.
• Senior personnel may manage workshop activities, assign work schedules, and monitor work quality and compliance.
• Performs other duties safely as assigned by the supervisor within physical job requirements.
• Demonstrates good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Communicates clearly with supervisors, team members, and internal stakeholders regarding job progress, safety concerns, and equipment status.
• Accurately completes job reports, checklists, and operational documentation.
• Senior personnel clearly communicate expectations, roles, and responsibilities to their teams.
• Actively participates in technical, safety, and compliance training.
• Engages with line management on performance, development goals, and career progression.
• Senior personnel provide coaching, mentoring, and competency assessments for junior employees.
