Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all documentation related to the factory setup, including contracts, procurement, and compliance with local regulations. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely progress and adherence to project timelines. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of machinery and equipment. Develop operational procedures, production plans, and safety protocols prior to factory opening. Recruit, train, and lead the factory team once operational. Ensure efficient workflow, quality standards, and cost control once production begins. Report project updates and operational readiness to management regularly. Collaborate closely with the Dubai head office during the planning phase, transitioning to full-time factory management in Iraq after setup completion.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).

Proven experience (5+ years) in factory or plant management, preferably in setup or pre-opening environments.

Strong knowledge of machinery, production processes, and maintenance.

Excellent understanding of contracts, documentation, and supplier coordination.

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Willingness to relocate to Iraq after the initial phase in Dubai.

Fluent in Arabic and English.
