Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility (building, utilities, cleaning, security, maintenance, etc.)
- Supervise and coordinate with in-house staff, vendors, and service providers for maintenance, housekeeping, security, etc.
- Plan and manage facility budgets, including utility expenses and vendor contracts.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, statutory, and environmental regulations.
- Schedule regular preventive maintenance and handle emergency repairs promptly.
- Manage office assets, space planning, seating arrangements, and office relocations.
- Liaise with local government bodies for licenses, inspections, or approvals.
- Prepare reports on facility conditions, maintenance schedules, and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate procurement of office supplies, equipment, and consumables.
- Implement energy-saving and sustainability initiatives across the facility.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in facility management, preferably in a corporate or commercial setup.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, etc.)
- Familiarity with statutory compliance related to fire safety, labor laws, and EHS standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility management software/tools.
- Ability to handle emergencies and work under pressure.
