Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Facade Lighting Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing facade lighting systems for commercial, residential, and architectural projects. This role requires technical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of lighting design principles. The engineer will work closely with architects, consultants, and project managers to deliver innovative and aesthetically pleasing lighting solutions that meet functional and regulatory standards.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom facade lighting systems that enhance architectural aesthetics.
  • Prepare lighting layout plans, lux level calculations, wiring diagrams, and BOQs.
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering team to integrate lighting into architectural concepts.
  • Conduct site visits, mock-ups, and supervise installation to ensure alignment with design intent.
  • Select appropriate lighting fixtures, fittings, and control systems based on technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, energy codes, and safety standards.
  • Perform testing and commissioning of lighting systems and provide technical support.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in facade and architectural lighting.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (EEE), Lighting Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3 5 years of experience in facade lighting or architectural lighting projects.
  3. Proficient in Dialux, Relux, AutoCAD, and other lighting design software.
  4. Strong knowledge of photometry, lighting calculations, color theory, and illumination standards.
  5. Must be familiar with 3D lighting design and visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, etc.).
  6. Understanding of electrical layouts, lighting fixtures, control systems, and LED technology.
  7. Good communication and team collaboration skills.
