Duties And Responsibilities
Purpose
To provide support to FM project teams both on and offshore
Functions
Below is a list of all the key functions to be delivered by the FM Workpack Preparator
- Prepare and maintain 5-year, 1-year, 90-days, 28-days plans for Fabric Maintenance Inspection activities.
- Input into the Clients planning process in sufficient detail to meeting planning gate criteria and upload into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (ORACLE EAM).
- Develop FM Inspection workpacks, implement FM Inspection programs.
- Review overdue FM anomalies and propose campaigns for closure.
- Monitor and support offshore FM Inspection activities at sites.
- Continually review and ensure optimum processes and personnel are in place to enhance efficiencies and improve productivity.
- Work with Integrity and Inspection personnel to develop inspection strategies and programs to address threats to the asset s fabric integrity.
- Review of FM Inspection reports, enter anomaly in Client a-integrity reporting database.
- Facilitate Fabric Maintenance anomalies review meetings, initiate agreed corrective actions into Client processes.
- Ensure that all Fabric Maintenance inspection activities are carried out on schedule and giving Client adequate notice and justification of any adverse impact to the plan attainment.
- Prepare and publish weekly and/or monthly FM inspection progress reports.
- The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post
- Carry out on and offshore site visits as and when required.
- Assist with any other duties as and when required
- Improve communication / coordination between on and offshore.
Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to, as far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company. Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Required
n Recognised coating inspection qualification from NACE or equivalent (P)
n University Degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering (P)
n Recognised Management or Supervisory Qualification (P)
n Good knowledge & experience with P&ID (drawings) and ability to markup specific areas / locations (P)
n Must be willing to undergo further training as required (E)
n Excellent computer skills (MS Office), including Word, Excel and Power Point; (E)
n Experience with FM activities / rope access (E)
Knowledge, Experience, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics
n 10 years of Fabric Maintenance experience in the Oil & Gas Industry (E)
n Experience in related field or database administration (P)
n Ability to manipulate and co-ordinate large volumes of data quickly and accurately (E)
n Able to work under own initiative with periodic supervisor guidance (E)
n Ability to plan work to attain goals set by deliverables (E)
n Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written). (E)
n Fit for offshore visits (E)
Working Conditions
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
n Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
