Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
MISSIONS:
The comprehensive signaling studies control engineer is responsible for verifying the output of the various studies produced by the system contractors for Zone 1: Kenitra - Marrakech High-Speed Rail (LGV).
The external control mission for the execution studies aims to ensure that:
- The documents to be produced by the contractors comply with the standards and specifications and contain no errors, omissions, or contradictions detectable by a professional. This mission includes a random review of the documents for the telecommunications and signaling components.
- The monitoring of configuration management, resulting from the LGV System consortium's studies, complies with the PPLG quality framework and the project master schedule.
This mission is divided into six main aspects:
Configuration Management:
Implementation and monitoring of configuration management, in conjunction with the interface manager, for the LGV system component.
Management and Acceptability:
The management of deliverables from the industrial partners of the Kenitra-Marrakech High-Speed Rail System consortium and the observation sheets prepared by the Project Management Assistance (AMO) or the engineering firms (BEs) responsible for any external audits; the transmission, monitoring, analysis, and archiving (EDM and SharePoint) of the various documents. The acceptability of each document (rapid analysis before submission for review).
Design and Specification Control:
The design control mission consists of ensuring, throughout the study phases, the conformity of the industrial partners' designs with the clauses included in the contracts on the one hand, and the project program and reference documents on the other. This involves managing the design and specification studies between the industrial partners' output, the analysis by the engineering firms (for any external audits), and the ONCF (Moroccan National Railways) project program. Organizing design reviews is part of the process. The role also includes participating in interface management during the design phase, working with the Interface Manager. The role involves analyzing the various documents produced through sampling and creating review and monitoring sheets.
Control of basic documents:
Monitoring the production and quality of technical and implementation plans for the Marrakech conventional line and high-speed rail line (LGV) by the engineering departments of the industrial companies;
analysis of the various documents produced through sampling and creation of review and monitoring sheets.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required profile:
Extensive experience and solid knowledge of signage, from design to implementation, enabling the acceptance of documents and their detailed analysis.
Ability to lead meetings from design to execution.
Analytical and synthesis skills, advisory skills, and excellent writing abilities.
Strong organizational skills, autonomy, rigor, and methodical approach.
Ability to communicate and work in a multidisciplinary and multinational team and network, to integrate the constraints of other professions and the regulations applicable in Morocco, and to propose globally optimized and innovative solutions.
Proficiency in computer tools, office software, and drafting software (AutoCAD).
