Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct full-cycle external audits for multiple clients across various industries.
- Evaluate financial statements and accounting records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Perform risk assessments and determine the nature, timing, and extent of audit procedures.
- Identify control weaknesses and provide practical, value-added recommendations.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure audits are completed in accordance with IFRS and ISA standards.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to management and clients.
- Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, tax laws, and industry trends.
- Coordinate with client staff and audit teams to ensure smooth execution of the audit process.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- proven experience in external auditing, preferably with a recognized audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Proficiency in audit and accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
- Professional certification is preferred or in progress.
