Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be supporting and advising the direct client facing teams within Consulting on engagement delivery excellence.

This is a unique opportunity to engage in cross-border collaboration with Deloitte professionals across the Deloitte network, broadening your knowledge and building your competencies and skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capturing and considering the major impacts associated with quality issues to support identifying and mitigating what drives those costs.
  • Supporting in executing quality activities (e.g., methods, tools, engagement quality management processes) appropriate for the size and complexity of engagements and having adequate leadership oversight and involvement with the engagement.
  • Providing objective and timely feedback on engagement risks and mitigation strategies to engagement teams and identifying and escalate areas of concern to firm leadership for possible intervention.
  • Confirming that contract and noncontract-related obligations are finalized, engagement team members have complied with the necessary off-boarding process obligations, the client is satisfied with the results of the work, all relevant engagement documentation is appropriately filed/stored, and issues relevant to future work for that client or type of service are captured and communicated.
  • Answering ad-hoc queries
  • Developing a deep understanding of our Consulting service offerings
  • Working as a business partner, developing practical commercial solutions for Deloitte s business and client service teams - enabling them to provide excellent client service while managing Deloitte s risk
  • Work, including independently, within an environment where requirements change frequently and therefore this role is also likely to change and expand with time
  • Maintaining policies and procedures
  • Implementing, and maintaining standard engagement delivery excellence procedures and processes
  • Building a network throughout the delivery excellence functions across the member firms

Experience, qualifications & skills

  • Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree from a reputable University in Law, Business Administration, or related disciplines
  • 1-2 years experience in a quality or risk management role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload effectively and to be responsive
  • Experience of dealing with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Strong time management skills with ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure with a flexible approach
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to finishing tasks to the highest standards
  • Ability to quickly assess the risk areas and recommend ways of mitigating or managing them
  • Analytical skills - ability to use judgment, analyse facts and draw logical conclusions
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Fluent in Arabic
  • Good level of technical proficiency and computer literacy particularly with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
