Roles & Responsibilities

Your Day to Day

As the Executive Sous Chef, you will Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen staff and coordinating food preparation. Supervise and participate in the preparation of all food items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Develop and implement new menus and recipes in collaboration with the Executive Chef. Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to uphold our standards of excellence. Manage food costing, inventory control, and purchasing within budgetary guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

  • Similar experience in a luxury hotel and/or resort
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and hygiene practices
  • Creative flair and a passion for culinary arts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
