Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Process Excellence & Documentation
- Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various functions.
- Create clear Process Flow Diagrams using industry-standard symbols and modeling methods.
- Support Business Process Optimization by identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
2. Digital & Operational Improvement
- Assist in digital project implementation to enhance workflows and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to digitize manual processes and streamline reporting.
3. Manufacturing Support
- Work closely with core and supporting manufacturing departments to understand processes, capture requirements, and improve productivity.
- Support initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and process stability.
4. Training & Development (Engineer level focus)
- Assist in identifying skill gaps, planning relevant training programs, and preparing training materials (PPTs, assessments, learning content).
- Coordinate and schedule training programs across departments.
- Support stakeholder communication and ensure smooth training execution and documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Junior Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Industrial / Production).
- Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering + Master’s in HR (preferred) or any related field.
Experience
- Junior Engineer: 1-2 years experience in process, operations, or documentation roles.
- Engineer: 4–6 years experience in Learning & Development / Process Excellence, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of SOP creation, process mapping, and workflow documentation.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Business Process Improvement / Lean concepts.
- Ability to support digital transformations and work with digital tools.
- Knowledge of L&D methodologies, training lifecycle, and skill gap analysis (Engineer level).
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with various departments and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in execution.
