Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and update catering menus based on client needs, seasonal availability, and trends.
- Develop custom menus for weddings, VIP events, and themed occasions.
- Supervise all food preparation and presentation for off-site and on-site events.
- Oversee food transport, setup, service flow, and cleanup procedures.
- Schedule staff for kitchen and event coverage.
- Monitor performance and ensure adherence to recipes and standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Manage food and labor costs to meet budget targets.
- Oversee ordering, receiving, and storage of ingredients and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 7 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef, preferably in high-end catering.
- Strong knowledge of diverse cuisines and event service styles (buffet, plated, live stations).
- Proven leadership and kitchen management skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
