Job description

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Architect with 8 to 15 years of proven experience, particularly in shop drawings and execution drawings. The ideal candidate is a strong team leader, problem-solver, and multi-tasker who thrives in dynamic environments and can coordinate projects from design development through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:


Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of architects and engineers on construction documentation.


Produce high-quality execution and detailed shop drawings.


Prepare and elaborate Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and required technical documentation.


Review and manage modifications, and handle all documentation submittals.


Follow up on project progress, prepare and attend coordination meetings, and issue progress reports.

Participate in defining project objectives, work plans, schedules, and budget adherence.


Develop design concepts through to full construction documentation stage.


Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and standards.


Manage timely submission of drawings to relevant authorities.


Oversee material selection and integration of project data.


Lead teams on complex designs, resolve discrepancies in drawings, and ensure technical accuracy.


Coordinate with subcontractors and assist in interpreting design specifications.

Conduct site visits and attend construction meetings as needed.


Liaise with clients to address requirements and ensure satisfaction.


Maintain a high standard in design quality and documentation.


Address issues affecting project timelines and budgets proactively.


Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Architecture or equivalent.


8 to 15 years of professional experience, with strong expertise in shop drawings and execution phases.

Strong leadership and coordination skills across all project stages.

Proficient in AutoCAD and other standard design tools.


Excellent communication, reporting, and time management skills.
