Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the ideation of new event and programming concepts aligned with market trends, audience insights, and AlUla s destination strategy.
  • Support the development and planning of assigned events and festivals within the AlUla calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Draft and manage detailed Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for event and festival offerings, oversee the procurement process, and monitor progress against key milestones.
  • Lead coordination efforts with internal departments (execution teams, marketing, visitor experience, etc.) and external stakeholders (vendors, production agencies, artist teams, etc.).
  • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of event programming, procurement timelines, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Maintain documentation for all programming and planning activities, and provide updates to senior leadership.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project tracking reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and post-event closure reports with key learnings and outcomes.
  • Support the budgeting and financial planning process in collaboration with finance and procurement teams.

Job Requirements

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Events Management, or a related field.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in events management, cultural programming, or destination management.

Other Requirements

  • Expertise in contractor management, safety compliance, and operational optimization.
  • Experience in managing visitor destinations, cultural sites, or hospitality operations is preferred.

Core Competencies

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Creative problem-solving with a focus on delivering high-quality visitor experiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Fluent in Arabic & English.
