Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and execute lighting designs that elevate event experiences, ensuring flawless technical integration and visual impact.
  • Manage the entire lighting and AV production lifecycle, from initial concept to strike, including budgeting, vendor selection, and on-site supervision.
  • Collaborate closely with event planners, designers, and other stakeholders to understand and translate creative visions into reality, always offering innovative solutions.
  • Oversee the setup, operation, and dismantling of all lighting equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during events, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless performance.
  • Stay abreast of the latest lighting technologies and trends, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance event productions with cutting-edge solutions.
  • Create detailed lighting plots and cue sheets, meticulously documenting all aspects of the lighting design for efficient execution.
  • Manage and train a team of lighting technicians, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Lighting Design, or a related field.
  • Exceptional technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.
